JK Asistant Teacher

Hello, my name is Trever Douglas. I have been with Good Beginnings School since June of 2021. I came on board as a lifeguard and swim instructor for the summers and continued to study psychology at Salisbury University in Maryland. I have grown up around younger kids all my life and I believe one of the greatest joys in life is brightening up the day of a child who is feeling down. I take safety seriously and assure you that your child will be safe under my watchful eye during their group free swim time as well as during their swimming lessons.

Currently, while school is in session, I am the assistant teacher in the Junior Kindergarten class during the instructional hours. In the later afternoon I switch hats to be the afterschool teacher. I transport elementary school age students from their school to GBS. Here they can complete homework, participate in selected pre-planned activities, outside play on our age-appropriate playground or gym depending on weather and end their time with us with some calm that includes library time for reading to themselves, listening to audio books, or reading with me.

In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, swimming, animals and hanging out with my friends and family! Ask me what my favorite animal is!
